I don’t have a bucket list, but I do have some thoughts on things I’d like to do, even if only in my mind. Here are a few thoughts and things:
Walk down Rodeo Drive and pull a Julia Roberts: “big mistake…big…huge”. Wouldn’t you just love to do that with some of the stores you deal with?
Drive a Lamborghini along the California coast. (As someone who doesn’t know one car from another, I don’t know where that came from.)
Drink champagne; eat green grapes and caramelized onion-aged cheese while watching a sunset.
Create my own perfume. Well more to the point: create a beautiful perfume decanter. (Or maybe wine…or single malt scotch)
Wear all white, with eyelets and lace. So not me.
Wear angora. See above.
Wear diaphanous, flowing “Woodstock” type clothing, with a wreath of daisies in my hair and Janis Joplin-like glasses. Ditto above.
Sit and listen to every Beatles song, over and over and over again. (Oops: I already do that:)
Eat smoked salmon with capers and dill in Finland, after sweating in the sauna and jumping naked into the lake.
Drink iced vodka in the ice hotel.
Take a dogsled ride through a snowy forest; top it off with homemade cake- donuts dipped in fresh maple syrup while warming up in front of a wood stove.
Explore a deserted building full of the artifacts from a previous owner and create a story about what that life looked like.
Lie down in a field of wildflowers and watch clouds.
Roam miles of beach and collect buckets full of seashells.
Ride round and round on a beautiful vintage carousel.
